HVTC Sydney in conjunction with a reputable host employer, is seeking applications from candidates interested in commencing or continuing an Engineering Mechanical Apprenticeship.

This apprenticeship offers both on the job and formal training where you will be able to complete a Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical over a 4 year term.

HVTC Sydney provides mentoring and support for all their apprentices and are seeking committed applicants who possess passion for this trade, and an enthusiasm to learn and develop new skills.

To be considered for this position you must demonstrate the following: 

Essential

• Looking to start or continue their qualification in Engineering - Mechanical 
• Genuine interest and passion for the Mechanical Engineering trade
• Proven ability to work well within a team environment
• Willingness to commit to study requirements and TAFE attendance
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Sound mathematical and analytical aptitude
• High attention to detail 
• Strong commitment to workplace health & safety, both for yourself and others
• Motivation to commit to and complete a four year apprenticeship term
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Current drivers licence (provisional licence accepted)
• Access to reliable transport
• WHS Construction Industry Induction (White Card)
• Desire to undertake fluid power course

Desirable 

• Work experience in any area/s relevant to the apprenticeship
