Maxima have been engaged to recruit 12 x Event Labourers for an events hire company providing delivery, installation and dismantling of equipment at Nambour Show Grounds, paying $25.26 per hour + Super + Penalty rates. Must be available to commence Thursday 5th July.

Must be available for weekend work with time & a half available on Sunday!

Responsibilities will include:

• Erecting temporary fencing
• Road block sets ups
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Setting up marques/stages/exhibits
• Rolling in and out tables
• Stacking/un-stacking chairs
• Picking and packing duties
• Site clean-up and any other ad hoc duties

Successful applicants will require the following:

• Demonstrated experience within a heavy manual handling roles
• Great work ethic (MUST)
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team
• Be well presented (neat & tidy)
• Physically capable of working indoors/outdoors and able to manually lift
• Relevant PPE (high vis polo, steel caps etc.)
• Licences to operate various plant and equipment is highly desirable, but not essential
• Willing to work long hours if necessary
