About the Role:
The purpose of the role is to assist in the implementation of the open space requirements and service delivery needs.
About you:
- Perform open space maintenance works as required. This may include turf maintenance, weeding, spraying, machinery maintenance, general pruning, planting, watering, irrigation maintenance, climb trees, prune trees and tree watering & mulching.
- Establishment of new and maintenance of old garden beds
- Routine parks and gardens maintenance
- Operate and maintain various horticultural machinery in a safe and professional manner
- Fulfil ad hoc client requests
- Foster a “one company” approach with individuals recognising and taking responsibility for their part
- Accountable for the safe operation of the areas accountable for, and to contribute towards safe operations within Citywide generally
Essential Skills:
- Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent
- Chemical Certificate
- Traffic Management Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
