If you are an experienced production manager that comes from a trade background with the willingness to lead and support an already established team then we want to hear from you!
Your new role
This is a prominent role within the organisation and you will be a key part of the management team. You will be technically minded and have thorough experience with the production of kitchens and commercial joinery both high volume and one off pieces.
On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:
- Managing a team (up to 10) on the factory floor
- Delegate roles on factory floor, and prioritise tasks to meet project deadlines
- Dispatching jobs onsite
- Meeting targets for all projects
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a qualified joiner with experience in leading a medium sized team of factory based cabinet makers - up to 15 cabinetmakers. The successful candidate will be highly organised and able to read plans, as well as being able to track all jobs and deliver them on time and within budget.
Ideally, you will have:
- Carpentry/Joinery Trade qualification
- Experience as a Foreman or Production Manager
- Certificate in manufacturing (desirable)
- Proven experience leading a team
- Scheduling and Time Management skills
