Overview
Sign Here Signs is a WA owned and operated business, which has been servicing WA for over 20 years. With a renewed focus and growing workload from new lines of work, we are looking to grow our close group of staff. We are seeking a well presented, motivated and experienced graphics/vinyl applicator with an in depth understanding of the industry.
Work scope ranges from small decal to large digital prints & vehicle graphics, developing further into other aspects of signage including LED & displays. The successful candidate will based in our Malaga production workshop, with various jobs requiring installation on-site across the Perth metro area.
The Role
Using vinyl media from a range of manufacturers, we require an individual who can apply graphics without supervision, whilst following relevant artwork, and without error. Many of our on-site installs are on sites with strict OHS policies, we require an individual who can work safely. In house work will comprise of preparing various jobs, from simple decal supply jobs, to more complex tasks such as reception signage, and large digital print application work. We require an individual who can complete a wide range of work without issue. The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug and alcohol text, and undertake a National Police Clearance.
Duties & Responsibilities
The successful applicant will join our current team of sign writers and applicators . You will be expected to be able to complete general vinyl installation tasks without supervision or assistance, and work with others for larger digital print installation works. On-site work will involve customer interaction, and the ability to abide by specific site rules of the relevant client. An individual who can prove themselves as a team leader will be generally favoured for the roll.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Full unlimited working rights within Australia - (restricted or sponsorship VISAS will not be considered),
- Minimum 3 years graphics/vinyl installation experience on a variety of surfaces,
- Ability to work as a team, but also without supervision,
- Good time management skills,
- Have full experience in a range of media types, from standard vinyls to air egress, and engineering grade reflective medias,
- Experience wrapping vehicles (partial and full) advantageous
- Full C-class WA drivers licence and reliable transport
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) & Working at Heights (WH) cards advantageous
- Experience and knowledge of sign design programs such as SignLab, Corel Draw and the Adobe Creative Suite advantageous
