Dematic Pty Ltd, a world leading supplier of integrated logistics and material handling solutions currently has an opportunity for a motivated and talented Maintenance Technician (with a electrical licence). The position will be located in Mulgrave, VIC at one of our major client sites.
The position has a requirement to be available to complete night shift work performing 12 hour shifts from 6:30pm to 6:30am including weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
The Role
Servicing client's equipment in accordance with project and service agreements is the primary objective of this role, whilst identifying opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products. Adhering to and promoting safety standards and work practices for colleagues and customers alike is a vital component of the role.
You must have experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults, be customer focused and ensure high quality service and output is delivered.
Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications & experience:
- Must have experience as a qualified electrical fitter and A class electrical license.
- Experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems, computerised maintenance systems, and automation (conveyors) is an advantage
- Experience in computerised maintenance systems.
- Understanding of OH&S requirements.
- PLC experience/exposure in S7 and Scada WIN CC an advantage
- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with the customer.
