About the role:
The Senior Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the office and visiting officer quarters and to carry out any laundry duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
- Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in the office and with the cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work to timeframes and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously, use initiative and work unsupervised.
It would be desirable if you also possessed:
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
- Previous experience working or living within an Indigenous setting and ability to demonstrate a high level of cross cultural awareness in the workplace.
- Awareness of issues affecting Indigenous people to ensure effective participation in across-cultural environment.
What you'll get in return:
A full time fixed term (2 years) contract receiving a base salary of $58,177 before superannuation. You will benefit from 6 weeks of annual leave with 17.5% leave loading. Your subsidised accommodation is based in Ramingining Community and you can expect to pay $75 per week. Relocation and repatriation assistance will be provided to the successful applicant.
