QLD Service Technician and Warehouse Assistant
plumBOSS Australia is an importer manufacturer and distributor of a complete range of tools and equipment for plumbers and other tubework and pipeline industries. plumBOSS is currently seeking a full time, reliable person in a hybrid role to join our team. This position is for dual roles covering After Sales Service and store/warehouse duties.
This position is for the day to day After Sales Service Management, Hire Fleet Management and Coordinating along with warehousing and dispatch operations and to provide an exceptional level of customer satisfaction.
Service Technician/After Sales Service Consultant
Duties Include:
In house service work
In house assembling
Field visits to customers for equipment service
Spare Parts Consultant
Work with Electrical / mechanical service contractors for repairs to machines (if outside in-house capabilities)
Manage nonconformities and defective goods procedures
Hire Machines Fleet Control
OH&S Overseer
Warehouse/Storeman
Making up client orders from goods delivered and/or items in stock
Packaging and despatching of orders
Receiving in goods – including Quality checks
Record keeping relating to stock movements and reporting plant and equipment maintenance requirements
Various pick, pack & dispatch tasks
Booking of local and interstate freight
The Successful Candidate must have/be
- Ability to troubleshoot faults and establish repair options
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams and drawings
- Computer literate and good literacy & numeracy skills
- Mechanically minded
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Current Forklift license
- Well organised / Good time management skills
Experience
- Some power tool/machinery repair experience required
- Electrical trades qualification an advantage
- Warehousing experience an advantage
Specialised training provided
Work hours will be 8:00 am to 4:30pm.
