ABOUT THE ROLE & CLIENT
Our client is seeking an experienced Leading Hand for their Ground Maintenance contract in the Lake Macquarie region. Previous experience performing Leading Hand duties is essential to the role and candidates must demonstrate this on their resume.
The successful applicants will ideally be experienced and able to work to a good standard, paying attention to detail and provide a thorough and effective Lawn Care service and work as part of a highly motivated and busy team.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
In this role, you will take responsibility for leading a small team who will be performing the following duties mowing (operating a ride on lawn mower), gardening, spraying, chainsaw operation and general ground maintenance.
To successfully secure this excellent employment opportunity, it is essential that you:
- Have at least 1-2 years of relevant professional experience
- OHS Construction Induction
- Safe & positive leadership
- Improving & maintaining productivity
- Quality Inspection of works
- Able to complete Safety paperwork associated with tasks
- Have experience with lawn and garden equipment (mowers, brush cutters, hedge trimmers etc.)
- Tractor / Slasher Experience
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Be a team-player
- Physically Fit to carry out work requirements
- Safety Focused
