I am looking for an Assistant Service Manager for a well established Fire Protection Company focusing on Wet Fire Systems.

Ideally you will have had previous Supervisory (or Own Business) experience as a Sprinkler Fitter or Plumber & you must also have had exposure in providing Clients with Quotes for requested works, exceptional people management skills (responsibility for a field team of 8 technicians) & strong technical knowledge of various Wet Fire Protection systems.

The responsibilities of this new role will include;

• Mostly Office based
• Focus on Client Relationships & service efficiencies
• Manage Techie requirements and Service Dept KPIs
• Quoting and scoping of service and minor works
• Ensuring compliance to Australian Standards and BCA

Your background will include the following skills and experience;

• Strong field experience in the Wet Fire protection industry
• Extensive Wet Fire Protection systems knowledge
• Previous experience in a similar role where you have been managing a team of field technicians in the Fire industry & tracking profitability
• Excellent Communication skills
• Previous experience Estimating & Quoting of Works
• Strong WHS skills, experience and knowledge
• Demonstrated experience driving process efficiencies and compliance
• Applied understanding of BCA & Australian Standards

Generous Base Salary + super + FMCV + Tools of Trade + RDO +
