Working across Australia, we are a trusted provider in the property, infrastructure, industrial, defence and petroleum sectors. We have been in business since 2001, employing over 250 staff across offices in Newcastle, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Cairns, Townsville and Brisbane.
We are looking for full-time Water Treatment Plant Operators. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role is a hands-on, site based role involved with the construction, commissioning and operation of a number of water treatment plants associated with high profile projects throughout Adelaide.
Selection criteria:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience a in similar role, preferably including experience in working on automated treatment plants.
- Plumbing/fitting/mechanical/electrical & instrumentation background preferred: especially experience in the maintenance of process equipment, such as water treatment plants, pumps and pipework.
- Experience with multimedia filtration, sludge management, chemical dosing systems and instrument calibrations (pH meter, ORP meter, Turbidity meter etc.).
- Willingness to undertake labour as required to maintain and troubleshoot water treatment plant.
- Understanding of how to operate a plant using PLC and HMI preferred.
- Qualification in Water Industry / Treatment Operations, advantageous but not mandatory.
- Drivers licence, Forklift licence (preferred) and Construction Induction Card
- Should be able to manage to operate the Water Treatment Plant independently
This position will require periods of travel for different projects across Adelaide.
