We are looking for a Mercedes-Benz experience Foreman or Mercedes-Benz diagnostic technician wanting to take that next step in their career.
Working exclusively on Mercedes-Benz product, reporting to the Service manager the successful applicant must be motivated, well presented, eager to teach, monitor and mentor adding to the teams highly motivated culture.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all work procedures and processes given the legal and manufacturer- related specifications and standards, with the aim of smooth, professional and timely handling of all due diagnostic, repair and maintenance work. In this function, you are a member of the management team and are therefore also responsible for customer satisfaction and for the economic success of Service
- Managing the Teams productivity
- Managing the Teams efficiency
- Determine and specifiy qualifications and continuing education measures for technicians
- Allocate technicians among the corresponding shifts
- Conduct, monitor and support annual vacation planning
- Support preliminary diagnosis as part of Service reception
- Documentation of diagnostic results on the workshop order
- Perform functional test
- Support, mentor and lead technician team
- Control the workshop flow and floor management
- Ensure work mix based on technician’s strengths
- Mentor technicians to build on opportunities
- Ensure information flow through regular communication
- Work with quality control ensuring work produced is of the highest standard
- Adhere to the warranty procedure, thoroughly documenting repairs and organisation of appropriate paper work and instructions.
- Maintain minimum training level in line with position
Qualifications:
- Mercedes-Benz experience is essential
- Mercedes-Benz foreman experience is highly desirable
- Mercedes-Benz Diagnostic Technician certifications are highly desirable
- Trade certification is essential
- Current NSW driver's license
