Talent International is working in partnership with a high-profile government organisation to assist in sourcing a Field Systems Officer on contract based close to Sydney CBD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving assigned field technology incidents and service requests from the service desk and ensure that they are resolved as quickly as possible in accordance with work instructions, service levels and priorities and to undertake routine installation, support and maintenance tasks of CCTV, Radio and other ITS systems
 
Key duties and accountabilities will be across:

• Ensuring field technology operates effectively through: Prompt incident response; Rapid return to service from incidents; and Low-impact technical change management.
• Accept, resolve and close out incidents and service requests assigned by the service desk and, where an incident or service desk is incorrectly assigned, collaborate with the service desk to ensure correct assignment
• Configure, install, commission, upgrade, repair and maintain field equipment including CCTV, ITS and Radio equipment and field equipment locations across NSW to ensure correct operation of equipment. Ensure configuration information, and asset management data remains up to date
• Liaise with 3rd party subcontractors, inspect, commission, test and report on the installation and maintenance work carried out by subcontractors

 
Along with relevant experience in a similar role we also require applicants to be able to meet the following criteria

• Willingness to travel within and outside of the Sydney Metropolitan area
• Ability to work outside normal working hours on occasion
• Relevant criminal record checks
• Successfully completion of Traffic Control at Worksites

Qualifications after appointment, if not in possession of:

• Workcover General Induction for Construction Work and NSW (White) Card
• ACMA Master Cablers Licence
• Operators card for a Vehicle Mounted Elevating Work Platform
