ChoiceOne require Fitters for metro work within a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

The role requires:

Trade qualifications with sound mechanical abilities
Fault finding diagnostics of mechanical breakdowns
Installation of new plant and equipment
Plant upgrades
Conduct preventative maintenance on fixed plant
Ability to work unsupervised

Other responsibilities include:

High safety awareness
Forklift, EWP, Confined Space and Working at heights is highly desirable
Basic welding/fabrication would also be advantageous
