Alfasi Hire is one of the major players in the elevated work platform and crane hire industry in Australia and is continuing to expand. 

As part of this expansion we are looking for an additional Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team in Carrum Downs, Victoria.

Duties will include:

• Maintain safe operating condition of all equipment in accordance with the manufacturers' requirements and Australian Standards;
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems
• Conduct all 'Pre-Hire checks' on equipment prior to dispatch and address any mechanical or safety issues;
• Carry out 90 day and annual programmed servicing in the workshop or on site;
• Arrange manufacturer assistance for any complex breakdowns or part replacements;
• Includes onsite service work – modern service vehicle to be provided;
• Represent the company on site to our clients in a professional manner.    
• Update and maintain service schedule & stock control.
• Periodic travel throughout Queensland and occasionally interstate

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a qualified Diesel Mechanic preferably with experience in construction equipment, diesel engine EWP's and/or cranes;
• Have electronics and hydraulics experience.
