The client;
Our client is a family owned business who currently operate with-in commercial construction and tenancy fit outs due to a solid pipeline of projects they are now seeking an experienced project manager to look after projects varying from $250k to $4million.
The director is still heavily involved in the business ensuring their staff are well looked after financially and maintain a positive work/life balance.
The role;
Reporting directly to the NSW construction/ projects director you will be in charge or managing projects from a sales hand over through to commissioning stages - this is an autonomous role as our client believes in allowing projects managers to run their projects with-out micro management and KPI’s.
You will be required but not limited to;
- Managing subcontractors, on site trades staff and materials;
- Liaising with tier one/ two builders and facilities management companies;
- Financial reporting, cost control and variations;
- Ensuring the project is delivered on time and with-in budget;
- Monthly forecasting and invoicing.
You;
Ideally you will have three to five experience managing small to large scale mechanical construction projects with-in the NSW/ Sydney market, a keen eye for detail and possess a good understanding of onsite finances and project delivery.

Selection Criteria;
- 2 to 5 years on site experience
- Trade qualified HVAC/R
- Two recent references
- Above average time management and communication skills
- Solid understanding of OHS policies and procedures
