About the business and the role
Linquist Hair has been serving Lindfield and Lower North Shore residents and their families for over 60 years. We pride ourselves in training and developing creative hairdressers through our in-salon training and programs through our partnership with Redken and Evy. With a strong emphasis on customer service.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic, good communication skills, be empathetic and provide exceptional customer experience every time. This position is full time. Tue to Sat 38 hours pw. As a 1st year apprentice key tasks would be:-
- Welcome clients and answer phone
- Schedule and remind clients of appointments
- Assist senior hairdressers and stylists
- Learn and develop through practical day to day experience
- Attend TAFE once a week
- Wash hair, clean and preparation
Skills and experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional and friendly with an empathetic manner
- Responsible and punctual and able to multi-task & prioritise
- Well-presented who will reflect our brand
- Eligible to work in Australia
