Come and join a highly regarded and established business. ARC is the leading installation company providing architectural roofing and facades solutions in zinc, copper and aluminium across Melbourne. We are seeking qualified roof carpenters for installation of sub-framing etc.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Installation of sub-framing e.g. plywood, membrane, galvanised top hats, battens and modular components, framework and joinery items etc.;
Work and set out lasers, dumpy level to grids, R.L.S and set out points;
Liaising with architects, builders and contractors on site;
Interpreting building designs and organising workshop drawings for manufacture;
Taking measurements and planning construction schedules;
Provide guidance and training to other employees and apprentices
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Trade qualification
- Minimum of four years experience in roofing and façade construction
- Previous experience working with non-ferrous metals highly regarded
