My client is in need of an experienced mechanic to offer technical support and customer service to Commercial Vehicles.This will require being the first point of contact for incoming customer phone and email inquiries in regard to the technical aspects of the CVS product range.


The Role

• Respond to day to day customer service requests with a particular emphasis on phone technical support
• Research and offer customers alternate product options when the part inquired on is not available, including cross referencing competitor, OE and aftermarket part numbers.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse group of customers and stake holders, whilst building a strong professional relationship.
• Answer general customer inquiries (Part Availability, Credit, Sales Returns & Price etc) and enter / manage sales orders to customers expectations, and to achieving order fill targets.
• Identify new product opportunities from customer inquiries and communicate these to the product specialist
• Build collaborative relationships with key customers
• Form a direct link with product management and keep them up to date on customer feedback, complaints, etc.
• Perform assignments as directed by the Customer Service Manager

The Requirements

• Qualified Mechanic through an industry related course or work experience
• Extensive experience in a Trade "Hands on Experience" role in a related field
• Good administration and business process experience
• Sound knowledge of CVS product range and application
• Awareness of Commercial Vehicle industry and service expectations
