Operations Supervisor

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Supervisor to join the Grounds Operations management team, based in our headquarters in Mulgrave.
 
Having an assigned portfolio of clients, this role is responsible for managing and motivating the South East Grounds Operations team to provide commercial gardening and grounds maintenance services to a high standard on a daily basis, adhering to HSEQ requirements always.
 
You will have strong people skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels. Customer service is paramount in this role as you will liaise with clients regularly. Through your site inspections, you will also be proactive in generating extra works ie property upgrades, tree works and irrigation services.

An understanding of contract management is required as you will plan and schedule works, labour and equipment accordingly, to meet our contractual obligations.
 
Day to day you will utilise our computer systems to prepare job sheets, work schedules, quotations and rosters. Experience with excel and word and exposure to an ERP system is ideal.
 
Utilising your leadership skills, you will ensure our team are mentored, educated and supported to be the best they can be – working with the Operations Manager, you will identify training needs, providing feedback on performance and on-going development of team members.
 
To be successful, you will have the ability to build strong relationships, both internally and externally and have a team focus. Flexibility, adaptability and sound prioritising and organisational skills will hold you in good stead.
