The Role

Spotless has a major contract with the Department of Defence to provide Estate Maintenance and Operation Services (EMOS). We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated, reliable, licenced Electrical Technician. In this role you will complete work which requires the application of relevant trade skills in a manner consistent with the high standards expected by our customers.  You will be further responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues, customers, and the general public.

Duties

• Attend at sites to deliver maintenance services and repairs to electrical/ mechanical systems and equipment 
• Program and coordinate activities to meet with specific site requirements and client programs.
• Use of mobile devices for the issuing, receipting, completion and feedback of requests along with timesheets, audits and other administrative tasks.

The role is hands-on and requires the tradesperson to perform a number of physical activities including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and using hand or power equipment. This position will require availability for after hours work and emergency call support on a rotating basis.

Our front of house staff is the face of Spotless and plays a pivotal role in delivering the service commitment we have made to our clients.

Skills and Experience

• Registered licenced electrician
• Appropriate qualifications, licence, training or experience to operate and maintain high voltage and low voltage equipment and systems.
• Valid, unrestricted drivers licence
• Ability to obtain and retain a Defence security clearance (Australian Citizenship Mandatory)

Demonstrated experience in relevant trade area required:

• Electrical repair and installation
• Commercial & industrial installation & maintenance
• Building services electrical/mechanical
• Experience in responding to and satisfying customer requests required
• Experience using hand or power equipment required
• Experience working within OH&S guidelines
