Toll provides quality logistics services to the Oil and Gas industry including the coordination, preparation, management and transport of customer inventory and equipment through the supply-chain in support of Oil and Gas exploration, drilling, production and construction activities. Toll Line Haul and Fleet Services is part of the Toll Group and specialises in the complete equipment management of the Toll Group mobile assets nationally.

Toll Equipment are currently seeking experienced Heavy Duty Fitter for our workshop in Port Hedland. This role is a residential role. FIFO will not be offered. Relocation allowance considered for right candidate.

Our Heavy Vehicle Fitters key accountabilities will include:

  • Deliver a high standard of maintenance and repairs to our modern fleet of specialised heavy multi-combination vehicles, working to the highest standards in safety utilising your Trade qualifications
  • Carrying out work on Cummins and Kenworth motors
  • Remote breakdowns
  • Repairs and maintenance to our forklifts, generators and lighting towers
  • Dangerous Good handling
  • Travel to remote sites when required

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Australian recognised tradesperson qualification (HD / HV Diesel Mechanic or equivalent)
  • 5 years post trade experience
  • Road Train heavy multi-combination experience
  • Previous Cummins and/or Kenworth experience
  • Local Hedland applicants only - Not FIFO
  • Forklift (LF) High Risk Work Licence (desirable)
  • Minimum HR Class Driver’s Licence (desirable)
  • Current Dangerous Goods Licence (or be able to obtain one)
  • National Police clearance - within 3 months old (or be able to obtain one)
  • Safety focused
  • Strong customer service orientation, positive attitude, good work ethic, and team participation
