We are currently looking for a Workshop Foreman to join our Service Department.
Main duties of the role:
- Support all the technicians with complex mechanical or diagnostic concerns
- Liaise with Service Advisors to conduct a diagnostic road test with guest vehicles in order to clarify any concerns with vehicles.
- Assist with the training and development of both Apprentices and technicians
- Quality Assurance Management
- Encourage innovation and improvement of all workshop procedures
- Manage early detection (ED) and Dealer Product Reporting (DPR) process and ensure Service Excellence targets are achieved.
- Monitor New Vehicle Warranty and ensure repair process and correct handling of replaced parts is maintained.
- Ensure Technical bulletins and or New Model information is discussed with technical staff to ensure a good knowledge base is maintained.
The Successful Applicant will be able to demonstrate ;
- Automotive Trade Qualification
- A minimum of 10 years' experience within an Automotive Dealership
- Toyota dealership experience (preferable) - Diagnostic Technician
- Excellent communication and people management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to be able to use initiative as well as work in a team environment
- The desire to train and develop Apprentices and technicians
