Our Infrastructure Services division operates three business units: Road Services; Infrastructure Projects and Utilities. As we continue our evolution of growth and innovation, the best people are critical to our success in supporting our customers and catering to market demands.
Downer's Road Services business unit is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 50 depots and maintain more than 40,000 km of road. Our Business is involved in many exciting ventures within the civil road industry throughout the country.
We are currently looking to hire Traffic Controllers to conduct effective traffic control for construction, roadwork, event management and all other affiliated works.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Undertake the duties of Traffic Controller
- Work within the traffic control specifications as defined within the MUTCD
- Provide advice, consultation and assistance relating to Traffic Control Management to Clients as required.
- Ensure all Traffic Control Management procedures are adhered to
- Undertake maintenance of temporary road signage and delineation assets when not actively controlling traffic
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, practices and procedures
- Undertake training as required
ABOUT YOU
- Current manual ‘C’ class drivers licence
- A Traffic Control Operators Ticket
- Current Construction Induction Ticket “30215 QLD”
