Our client has been servicing the concrete industry in the local area for over 50 years. Well known for delivering high quality concrete solutions to some of Newcastle’s largest commercial projects, their works include anything from multimillion dollar high rise commercial developments to residential projects and everything in between. That’s where you come in….
Corestaff are looking for experienced Concreters to join our CoreCrew for work based in the Newcastle region. These roles aren’t for the faint hearted! The Concrete game requires long, hard working days and in the pursuit of being the best in Newcastle, it means our clients operations are no different. If you’re a flexible, hardworking individual who takes pride in your work, willing to put in, you’ll come out with a great, ongoing job! Please note if you have solid experience as a concrete labourer we will still review your application!
We know that experienced, concreting superstars are tricky to find so here is what’s in it for you:
- If you’re a hard working, reliable type of bloke or gal, this will be an ongoing opportunity
- Pay rates will sit between $32 - $35 an hour depending on experience with OT & fares
- Gain experience on large, exciting projects which could include the Newcastle Light Rail, High Rise developments, local high schools, shopping centres or large residential projects
- Get street cred for being part of the best crew in Newcastle… the Core Crew. On a more serious note.. join a team that will appreciate you, ensure you get paid every week on time and are happy to have a laugh whilst working hard
What will you need:
- Solid experience with concrete finishing, screeding, steel fixing and formwork. If you have done this on large commercial/resi jobs We want you!
- Recent experience in the game
- Reliable transport to get to and from work every day and be kitted out, ready to go with your tools and PPE
- A good ‘don’t let the team down’ attitude… you cant put a price on a good attitude!
- A white card
- The ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
