We are currently seeking an experienced, mature minded and motivated person to carry out the following role as a Workshop based Diesel Mechanic.
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a renowned and reputable Materials Handling Company who offer Forklift Hire, Sales, Service, Repair and Maintenance on a range of Materials Handling equipment to a very large customer base in Cairns. As a key member of the Norlift Cairns Team, this position will primarily be responsible for assisting in the high demand of Workshop Breakdown and Servicing requirements for Customer and Internal Hire Fleet.
You will be required to assemble, maintain, diagnose, repair and provide servicing to light & heavy equipment.
The Successful Applicant;
- Must be a Trade Qualified Mechanic
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Experience working on & servicing of heavy plant and materials handling equipment is essential
- Interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work well autonomously as we as part of a team
