Our Client is a Major Automotive Service and Repair Centre who are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanic/Leading Hand for their busy workshop. This position is offered on permanent basis with an immediate start available.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Mechanical maintenance, repairs and servicing on all vehicle types
- Performing warranty work
- Providing Technical advice/support to customers
- Work to a busy service schedule
- Co-ordinate with workshop personnel to ensure product availability or confirm proposed delivery time-frame
- Attend/conduct workshop briefings and safety meetings
- Conduct best work practise
KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Must be a qualified Automotive Mechanic/Technician
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Good attention to detail and time-keeping
- Excellent safety awareness and familiar with working to safety procedures
- Good PC and administrative skills
