Threat Protect is an ASX listed company that provides security officers, consultancy, electronic security systems and 24 hour monitoring to large corporations, local and state government organisations in WA, NSW, QLD and SA.
We are urgently recruiting for licenced Control Room Operators for our 24 hour Grade A1 monitoring station in WA. Fresh graduates with Security or Risk Management, Counter- terrorism or Cyber Security background are welcome to apply.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring and actioning alarm systems and dispatching guards & patrols
- Responding to customer enquiries
- Monitoring camera and video survellience systems across multiple national sites
- Ensuring compliance and service levels are achieved
- Data entry and general administration duties
- Additional duties as requested by management
The applicant must have the following attributes in order to be successful in this role:
- Highly developed communication skills
- A polite & confident phone manner
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Conform to Company Policy as well as Standard Operating Procedures and instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Be self-motivated & have a willingness to learn
In order to be considered for this position, applicable candidates must have:
- Certificate II in Security Operations, or equivalent Control Room/ Monitoring Centre licence
- Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills
- A high standard of personal presentation and professional conduct
- Strong PC skills (including typing), with above average knowledge of Microsoft Office & Outlook.
Successful candidates will need to ensure they are available to work a roster incorporating days, nights, week-ends and public holidays.
