2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice

About the Company
Our client is a respected company and is situated in the Melbourne, who specialise in industrial electrical work.
About the Role
Our Host Employer is currently looking to employ 3rd or 4th Year apprentices for their business. You will be working 38 hours a week over time is available, early morning starts, Monday to Friday and some Saturdays.
As an apprentice electrician you will be working towards completing your Certificate III in electrotechnology.
Your roles and responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Fabricate, assemble and dismantle utilities industry components
- Fix and secure electrotechnology equipment
- Use drawings, diagrams, schedules, standards, codes and specifications
- Solve problems in single and three phase low voltage machines, a.c d.c. circuits and electromagnetic devices
- Terminate cables, cords and accessories for low voltage circuits
- Carry out basic repairs to electrical components and equipment
- Repair and maintain mechanical components of electrical machines
About You
The person we're looking for is enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable. You must have a white card and current driver's licence is required for this role and have experience in Commercial. But most of all we are looking for candidates that have a passion for the electrical industry and wants to complete their apprenticeship with a fantastic host company.
