Parts Interpreter & Sales Support
About the business and the role
DENSO is a global award winning high profile OES, Aftermarket and Service supplier to the Automotive industry.
We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Parts Interpreter to join our Sales team to co-ordinate product data for the preparation of catalogues, online databases and industry data sources. The role also includes a logistics component dealing with suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.
This role would suit someone with a passion for the Automotive industry and knowledge of Automotive products and applications, ideally with experience in an associated trade dealing with DENSO components. To be considered for this position you will need strong attention to detail, sound analytical ability, excellent communication skills, with a medium level of computer literacy with the Microsoft office suite.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include:
- Analyse and collate Australian and Pacific Island vehicle market information
- Catalogue and update internal vehicle application information
- Co-ordinate the publishing of DENSO information into National databases (OSCAR, Tec Doc)
- Co-ordinate the requirements of product images
- Update websites and online resources with latest product information
- Providing technical and product information to our customers
- Prepare freight documentation and data entry
- Coordinate the delivery schedule with freight forwarders and customs brokers
- Champion the DENSO logistics function, including driving continuous improvement activities.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate must address the following key selection criteria in their application outlining abilities within these areas:
- Basic vehicle knowledge and/or experience of DENSO parts and applications would be advantageous
- Sound analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Moderate computer skills
- Trade qualification in an automotive field preferred
- Logistics experience would be beneficial
