The Company:

Corporate Technology Services (CTS) is a key provider of audio visual facilities management services to prominent corporate clients. With over 25 full-time staff, our services consist of onsite Audio Visual support, integration, maintenance, event support, equipment hire and broadcast video support. Initially established in Sydney, CTS have grown year-on-year and expanded our services to Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. 

 

Your Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and commercially-minded Audio Visual Technician to join our Events Production team.

You will plan, prepare and operate Audio, Vision and Lighting on corporate events, and troubleshoot AV/IT issues when necessary.

Your day-to-day tasks may include but won't be limited to;

  • Plan, set up, operate and dismantle AV systems for corporate events, conferences and broadcasts;
  • Maintain and manage equipment in an organised inventory;
  • Arrange equipment for service and repair;
  • Assist with or complete yearly Test and Tag for electrical equipment;
  • Assist with video conferencing and AV presentation room set up;
  • Basic computer wireless network set up. 

Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a key role that will give you great exposure to both new and existing clients. As such, we need someone who can develop trusted client partnerships and grow with our business.

 

Your Background:

To be considered for this position you will have the following:

  • Advanced skills in the operation of Audio and Vision equipment, and intermediate skills with Lighting equipment;
  • Demonstrable experience in executing medium to high scale corporate events;
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills indicating a client-centric approach;
  • Dedication and the ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines;
  • Commercially-minded with previous experience in quoting and crewing highly regarded;
  • Accountable with proven experience as a self-driven individual who can work productively in a team environment;
  • Qualification in the AV Industry is highly desirable.
