East Coast Diesels are seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our expanding team. The role offers a wide scope of work specialising in full fleet servicing and the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles, plant and machinery. We operate from our Sunshine Coast workshops and carry out both on-site and mobile diagnostics and repairs. Quality paperwork and attention to detail along with good communication skills are essential.
The successful applicant will require:
- Heavy Vehicle Trade Certificate
- HR licence (minimum requirement)
- Experience working on heavy diesel engines and hydraulics
- Knowledge and diagnostic skills in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Automotive A/C and forklift qualifications will also be favourable.
- Proven work history with effective time management and a high work ethic
- To be motivated and work efficiently in both individual and team environment
- The ability to work various shift rosters
