Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced mechanics to provide technical support, fault finding, repair and maintenance services to a range of cranes and related equipment. Previous Crane experience is not essential. This role will be based in Wetherill Park.

Role Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall delivery of scheduled servicing and periodic inspections of plant and equipment;
- Hydraulics;
- Boom Re-Builds;
- Pneumatics;
- Electrical;
- Machine Servicing.
- Carry out mechanical repairs and service works, some basic weld repairs and perform specific machining tasks where required;
- Maintain effective communications with all internal and external customers;
- Complete all relevant documentation as required;
- Supervise and instruct apprentices, trades assistants and sub-contractors in regard to the performance of maintenance tasks, if required;
- Represent the company in its relationships with major customers;
- Take part in training and multi-skilling.
Experience and Qualifications:
- A proven commitment to safety;
- Heavy Diesel mechanic or Mechanic trade qualification;
- Driver’s License and HR License;
- Crane mechanic experience or experience with heavy equipment / plant, electrics and hydraulics is highly regarded;
- Experience with Frannas or Demags highly desirable but not essential;
- Self-motivation and ability to work unsupervised;
- Ability to problem solve routine issues;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- A demonstrated customer focus.
