Terex Corporation is a lifting and material handling solutions company reporting in three business segments: Aerial Work Platforms, Cranes and Materials Processing. This role is a part of our Genie segment, who are an industry leader in Aerial Work Platforms.
About the role
This position is responsible for the loading and unloading of new equipment, pre-delivery and preparing new equipment for delivery to our customers. This position will also support the service department with the completion of workshop based service work as required.
The Workshop Technician will be required but not limited to carrying out the following tasks:
- Receipt, Maintenance and Dispatch of machinery;
- Strip and rebuild machine components of access equipment;
- Ensure that repairs and overhauls are completed to Genie Industries Standards and the work instructions are completed;
- Electrical fault finding;
- Hydraulic repairs;
- Liaise with workshop management & the stock controller regarding machine status and requirements;
- Carrying out major inspection and maintenance over extended periods of all company supported product.
Skills and experience
Ideally you will be someone with a mechanical trade qualification with experience in service work (mechanical and hydraulic systems). You will have the ability to perform troubleshooting and report work on our machinery.

- Experience using Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent attention to detail
- EWP / Forklift ticket (desirable);
- Knowledge of Elevated Work Platforms (desirable);
