Maintenance Electrician required in the Food Industry for a 3 month assignment, $48ph on Afternoon Shift
Your new company
Hays are working with a recognised leader in the market for premium quality Food products, offering a large selection of goods in more than 100 countries around the world. This company are one of Australia’s fastest growing manufacturers and a leader in the market, with state of the art production facilities. Due to upcoming leave, there is a requirement for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to assist the team for a minimum of 3 months.
Your new role
Your job as Maintenance Electrician will see you managing product change-overs and preventative maintenance schedules, actioning them throughout the week maximising equipment performance. You will be able to action all breakdowns, minimise downtime on co-packing lines and implement initiatives to improve OEE.
- Within this position you will be responsible for the reliable and efficient operation of factory and packing machinery.
- You will be working with a variety of automated and semi automated equipment and will manage the operating, maintenance, repair and efficiency projects relating to this equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong electrical experience in an automated environment, with mechanical and electrical experience in production change-overs.
- You will have excellent technical skills and hold trade qualifications as a Maintenance Electrician.
- Experience in the process or packaging manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Your experience with automation such as bagging, case packing/erecting, conveyors and experience with multi head weighing equipment, bag and box packaging will be an advantage.
