We are seeking:
We are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join the Kalari team, based in Moura, Qld.
This highly sought after role will be reporting to the Workshop Manager, and the successful applicant will perform fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment. This position also requires call out and afterhours work on occasion.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Routine services and maintenance repairs (necessary and preventative maintenance) on our fleet of modern trucks, tippers and pneumatic tankers
- Fault diagnosis both electrical and hydraulic
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:
- A (heavy vehicle road transport) diesel mechanic qualification with previous experience in a similar role
- Proven experience working with Kenworth, Cummins and CAT vehicles
- Previous experience working on heavy vehicle road transport
- A current driver’s license
- HR, MC and Forklift licenses, or have the ability to gain
- Ability to complete mining and site inductions
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- The ability to pass a ASIO/Police clearance
- A positive attitude
- Willing to learn and pass on knowledge for the success of the company
- All basic tooling
It is preferable, but not essential that you have:
- Dangerous goods experience
- Previous experience in auto-electrics

You will have the ability to pass all pre-employment checks; which may include a medical assessment, National Police clearance check, driving license history check, reference checks, identity check, verification of tickets, licenses, accreditations and qualifications.
This is a residential role only, so candidates must either live in or be willing to relocate to Moura. The roster for this role is 5 days on/ 2 days off.
