Council is seeking applications for the positions of Labourer Grade 2 two year fixed term within the operations sections of Council’s Technical Services Department.
The main purpose of this position is to assist in the construction and maintenance of Council’s infrastructure, rural roads and footpaths, concreting of kerbs, parks and gardens. Ability to perform manual tasks and work in a team environment is essential.
Applicants should hold a current Class C drivers licence and must possess basic literacy and numeracy skills.
The position is classified as Band 2 within Council’s salary structure with a salary range from $44246.99 to $47871.96 per annum plus statutory superannuation, with actual salary to be based on qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2017
