The OpportunityThey are now seeking a Cabinet Vision Operator/ Joinery Designer to join their company in the Western Suburbs, Melbourne.
The primary purpose of this position is to head up the design team and assist with operating the cabinet vision software and designing jobs for customers.
Reporting directly to the Head Production Drawer some of your responsibilities include:
- Reading and interpreting plans for production
- Drawing and designing jobs for customers for sign off before production
- Producing shop drawings and cutting lists for production
- Reading and understanding architectural drawings
- Lead the team in the design room
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Previous experience using cabinet vision software
- Ideally have experience with Solid Manufacturing, version 8 or higher
- A strong focus on high-quality work
- Strong initiative and be able to work well within a team
