Reporting to the Production Manager this position forms a critical role in the workshop of the business.

Day to day responsibilities of this role will include:

• Assembly and fabrication of all joinery items
• Adhere to production schedules and timelines
• Operate machinery and required tools
• CNC & Edgebanding experience is a bonus
• Cleaning of completed items and materials
• Quality checking completed work
• Preparing finished items for delivery
• Cleaning of workshop and warehouse including disposal of waste to bins or off site

To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria:

• Trade Qualifications in Cabinetmaking / Joinery / Shopfitting
• OH&S White Card
• A minimum 3 years relevant work shop or site based cabinetmaking and or joinery experience
• Previous shop fitting experience preferred
• Professional and proactive outlook with a great work ethic
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong understanding of WH&S
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Attention to accuracy and detail
• Current Drivers License
• Strong planning and organisational abilities
• Ability to lead and work alongside others
• Ability to problem solve and deliver results
• Sound communication skills both oral and written
