Hardy Bros Mining & Civil Construction is looking for qualified and experienced Diesel / Plant Mechanic to be employed on a full-time basis for 3 year contract in the South Gippsland VIC (Nyora / Lang Lang) region for an immediate start.
The successful applicants will be working on large earthmoving equipment in a quality and safety focused driven mining environment.
The Person:
- Qualified Diesel / Plant Mechanic
- Experienced in servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Ability to diagnose faults and problem solve
- Ability to work in busy environment
- Do ad hoc duties when required
- A team player with good interpersonal skills.
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant Trade Qualifications (Diesel and/or Heavy Mobile Plant Mechanic)
- CAT experience (Mandatory)
- Advanced technical and diagnostic knowledge
- Field service experience
- Proven work history working with heavy mobile plant and equipment
- Drivers licence
- Tools of trade
Desirable:
- HR drivers license
- Employees will be employed on a Full Time permanent basis.
- A six-month probationary period applies to this position.
