Melco Engineering are currently seeking Boilermakers and Welders for an immediate start for workshop activities within our Mackay based branch.
As a leading steel construction services provider, Melco Engineering currently has a large forward load of structural products, truck trays, dragline and excavator buckets that already stretches into the second half of the year.
All our current workload is NEW BUILD!
Significant overtime will be available to all candidates.
We are seeking high level tradesmen for long term engagements with the following skills and qualifications;
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Fabrication Trade Qualification.
- Demonstrated experience fabricating material handling equipment, specifically within the Coal and Sugar industries; or,
- Demonstrated experience fabricating truck trays or dragline buckets.
- Demonstrated structural steel fabrication experience.
- Demonstrated experience in technical drawing interpretation.
- A level of workmanship that exceeds the highest quality standards.
Desirable skills and qualifications:
- High Risk Work Licence Qualifications
