ABOUT THE COMPANY.
      
This company is an award winning Residential Builder that is renowned in the industry for delivering residential projects. This firm specialises in the delivery of new build, renovation and extension projects valued up to $6M in Inner City suburbs. With an impressive portfolio of completed projects and a focus on maintaining strong Client relationships, this firm has secured a healthy pipeline of projects for the coming 3 years.
   
ABOUT THE POSITION.
    
As a Carpenter/Leading Hand, you will report to the Site Manager. You will be provided the training to manage and oversee the delivery of dwellings and units valued up to $6M. You will be positioned in Inner City Suburbs. You will be provided the ability to run projects autonomously. You will be required to work a Monday to Friday working week.
   
DUTIES.

• Manage site safety, WHS, trades and subcontractors
• Assist in managing the construction programming
• Ensure time restraints are adhered to
• Conduct inductions and tool box talks
• Read and interpret detailed site plans
• General 1st and 2nd fix carpentry

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.

• Lead carpentry experience 5 years out of apprenticeship
• Cert III in Carpentry
• First Aid Cert is advantageous
• Strong understanding of both 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
• Understanding of WHS and site safety
• Ability to work autonomously and follow direction
