About the business
Workforce Extensions - North Sydney has been providing labour hire and recruitment to the construction industry for over 12 years now. We are recruiting for a number of current and upcoming projects in the following areas:
- Sydney CBD/Eastern Suburbs
- Northern Beaches/North Shore
- Western Sydney/Inner West
- South West Sydney
With a great number of clients that have been with us for many years and constantly bringing in new projects we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and experienced staff to join the team.
About the role
Carpenter & Trades Assistant roles:
- Ability to use the required power tools; drop saw, nail gun, grinder, jackhammer, etc...
- A good working knowledge of general carpentry
- Duties will include but not limited to: framing/flooring work, fitting skirtings & architraves, hanging doors & fitting hardware
- Ability to read plans would be advantageous
Carpenter candidates must also possess:
- Australian recognised trade certification preferred
- OHS white card
- A proactive, flexible and adaptable nature
- Own vehicle & tools would be an advantage
- Overseas qualifications would also be considered for some roles
