Our client, employing 60,000 worldwide, has a long history of providing NSW Transport with a range of outsourced services, electro-mechanical in nature. They work with systems and equipment maintenance, as well as new installations. As part of their busy PROJECTS TEAM, and with developing NEW projects coming up, they now urgently need to hire a Licensed Electrical Supervisor, with a strong hands-on INDUSTRIAL background. Services are provided 24x7, but THIS role is working mainly 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the work with NSW Rail, you MUST have a current RIW / RISI card (Rail Safety Induction).
Based out of Sydney’s Western Suburbs, you will be working on-site where the projects are conducted – all around Sydney. The attractive package can be structured as a PERMANENT position (their preference). But if a shorter engagement were attractive to YOU, then 6 months (minimum) contract would be considered for the right person. (There is definitely a permanent headcount available with secure career prospects and a strong future).
To be successful in this role, we need YOU to have:
- An Electrical Supervisor's Licence
- A current RIW / RISI card
- Driver’s licence
- PPE kit
- Strong hands-on background in the industrial electrical field
- Sound communication skills and a team approach (Team size 3-4 techs)
- Ability to meet deadlines in a project-driven environment
