SERVICE TECHNICIAN FIELD/WORKSHOP

BAUER KOMPRESSOREN AUSTRALIA PTY LTD is seeking candidates for the position of Service Technician. This position is based in Sydney's western suburbs. 

Reporting to the National Service Supervisor, the main responsibilities for this position is maintaining and servicing high pressure Compressors / Systems and Plant.  The successful candidate will possess extensive maintenance and service experience background.

Duties include:

·         Repair and maintenance work on High Pressure plant

·         Repair and fault finding on the complete mechanical/electrical systems

·         Preventative and breakdown maintenance

·          Rostered 24/7 Backup Service Support

·         Travel when required to support service interstate

·         Service Reporting

All applicants must have:

·         Mechanical trade qualifications

·         Experience with the servicing compressors would be highly regarded

·         Restricted electrical licence is desirable but not essential initially

·         Good presentation & effective organisational and communication skills

·         Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience

·           Excellent customer service

·           A valid driver's licence

·           A valid forklift license desirable but not essential initially

Working as part of the national BAUER team, this position would suit a tradesman looking to develop their skills to the next level within a specialised industry.

A high level of customer service, time management, and team work are required for this exciting opportunity. The ability to work unsupervised is also essential. Strong commitment to safety and dedication to following WHS&E requirements is essential and have a strong desire to deliver best practice solutions for our customers business.
