CMV Truck and Bus Pty. Ltd. is the franchisee for Volvo Group Australia's brands, Volvo, Mack and UD for most of Victoria and South Australia. We operate a modern truck dealership in McKoy Street, Wodonga, which is state of the art with an overhead crane, heated floor and sophisticated lifting equipment. We have a vacancy for a qualified Diesel Technician experienced in heavy duty truck work.
Our Wodonga business has grown appreciably in recent years and, accordingly, we require additional Technician resources to handle the increased volume of work.
The successful applicant will have a background in working at an OEM Dealership or a large fleet operator and, as such, would be used to working in an orderly fashion using OEM manuals or online systems to assist for diagnostic and subsequent repair work. Volvo, Mack and UD brands share engine and transmission technology, which is state of the art, with horsepower ranges from 280 to 700 horsepower. Volvo Group's proprietary drivelines include automatic manual transmissions, branded as Ishift and mDrive. The combination of the drivelines and proprietary suspensions and electronics puts Volvo Group brands at the leading edge of today's modern truck technology. CMV operates its own internal Training School, which provides Apprentice and qualified Diesel Technician Training to ensure that staff are well educated on our family of vehicles.
