The Opportunity:
We have an opportunity for an apprentice to join our workshop at Chullora. As an apprentice you will be reporting to the Foreman working in a team of 7 highly motivated individuals. Extensive on the job training will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing of our products from start to finish
- General machining
- General assembly, painting & packaging
- Working with the Production Supervisor to ensure work schedules are maintained
- Pride in the quality of work that leaves the shop
- Workshop safety
- Ensuring that all equipment is maintained in cleaned appropriately
- Other tasks as instructed by the Workshop Foreman
Criteria:
- Any year Fitter and Turner apprentice
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of the bearing and power transmission industry highly desirable
- Good communication and written skills
- Keen to learn, take initiative and be a team player
