Set high on the hill amidst beautifully landscaped gardens, Meadowvale Retirement Village, based in Pakenham, is a perfectly positioned oasis offering an impressive Clubhouse, communal bowling green, hairdressing salon/barber and much more for its many residents.

To ensure the highest standard of resort style luxuries at the Village, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused Maintenance Officer to join the team on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday, to deliver general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures and fittings, facilities and associated structures in accordance with the Village Maintenance Plan.

Under the guidance of the Village Manager, the Maintenance Officer is responsible for the execution of the maintenance activity within the village in accordance with existing frameworks and budget ensuring all work is carried out following the correct procedures. Part of your role will also include driving the community bus along pre-planned routes.

To be successful you must have:

  • Demonstrated competence as a handyperson or experience in a site maintenance role or similar.
  • Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job.
  • High organisation skills and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • High motivation and the ability to take initiative.
  • General Computer Literacy and basic reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of EHS legislation.
  • Current MR or HR Driver’s License.
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Bus Driving Experience (desirable)
