About the company
With over 35 years' experience, our client is a leader in the timber industry, creating frames ranging from single story housing, multi-story housing and unit developments. With the company growing, we are currently seeking many timber trade assistants to join the team.
About the role
Duties and Responsibilities
- Putting together timber wall frames and roof trusses
- Use of hand and power tools, nail guns, staple guns, drop saws, drills and hammers essential
- Reading measurements and ensuring they are being joined in the right place
- Lifting up to 25kg
- Quality checking
- Meeting deadlines and KPI's
- Working respectfully within a team environment
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience with hand and power tools essential
- Joinery, Cabinet making, Carpentry skills/background HIGHLY REGARDED
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently
- Ability to work safely
- Positive attitude
- Good work ethic
- Good communication and mathematical skills
- Working in team environments
- Must be flexible with overtime
