An exciting opportunity has become available to join an innovative and expanding Sheet Metal Fabrication company. The role requires the services of an experienced and qualified First Class Sheet Metal Worker with 5 years minimum experience in welding and sheet metal fabrication.
Reporting to the Factory Manager, role and responsibilities will include:
- Fabrication and installation of sheet metalwork (including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium).
- Jointing, methods including dry and welded joints.
- Operation of machinery and various tools including press brakes, folders, bending presses, guillotines, thermal cutting equipment, ARC MIG & TIG welding.
To be considered for the role you will have:
- Trade Qualifications – First Class Sheet Metal Worker
- Ability to read workshop and engineering drawings
- 5 years minimum experience in sheet metal fabrication
- Competent in the use of hand & power tools.
- Ability to work as part of a team while having the skills to work unsupervised.
- Ability to commence work asap in a full time permanent capacity.
- Excellent work ethic
